LPN/CMA Float

LPN/CMA Float based at Patrick Street with travel to multiple FamilyCare Health Centers locations. Responsible for assisting providers with direct patient care through clinical duties and telephone triage, documentation in the EHR, and routine patient communication. Performs on-site testing (UA, UPT, strep screen, hemoglobin, blood glucose, HbA1c, rapid mono, flu, etc.), venipuncture (certified in phlebotomy), administers vaccines under standing orders, and assists with medications as directed. Duties include patient assessments (vital signs, BP, height/weight/BMI, etc.), updating allergies/medications/problem lists, education for patients with chronic illness, room cleaning and stocking, and participation in meetings. Requires LPN license or CMA certification, strong communication skills, and ability to travel to regional locations; physical requirements include dexterity, standing/walking, lifting up to 75 pounds and pushing up to 200 pounds, and exposure to clinical environment.
