LPN - Clinical (Per-Diem)

Job Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and organizing daily operations in cooperation with the Head Nurse to ensure quality patient care. Expected to provide direct nursing care in the health center based on patient need. Duties include supervision of clinical support staff, patient assessment, documentation of medical records, administering injections, training new staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to work within a team. Must demonstrate knowledge of infection control, ambulatory care protocols, and be flexible with work hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess current New York State Practical Nurse's License
- 5 - 7 years experience as an LPN
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in ambulatory care
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain current basic life support certification
- Must possess a valid New York State Driver’s License with a good driving record and have reliable transportation
