Job Summary
Coordinate clinical placements and clinical instructors; maintain relationships with hospitals, healthcare systems, and community clinical partners in the Rochester, NY area; develop and manage clinical schedules for nursing students; visit clinical locations to evaluate student learning experiences and ensure clinical education standards; monitor compliance with institutional policies, state regulations, and accrediting agency requirements related to nursing clinical education; provide guidance, coaching, and support to clinical faculty and instructors; assist with resolving clinical site concerns involving students, faculty, or healthcare partners; support nursing student success through effective clinical coordination and communication; teach up to two clinical rotations per term as needed; maintain accurate clinical documentation, reports, and records related to nursing program operations; support continuous improvement initiatives related to nursing education and clinical training; requires Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and NY RN license, with preferred experience in nursing education, clinical coordination, or nursing leadership; strong organizational and communication skills; experience with nursing informatics, simulation technology, and virtual clinical learning platforms; proficiency with Microsoft Office and online documentation systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license in good standing
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
- Previous experience in nursing education, clinical coordination, healthcare training, or nursing leadership preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience with nursing informatics systems, simulation technology, and virtual clinical learning platforms preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online documentation systems
