Job Summary
Provide patient care according to age-specific population needs and assist in managing patient care in the physician office setting under direct supervision of a provider. Work daily with the Physician for patient office appointments and visits at the FPG Internal Medicine office located in Waldemere Medical Plaza on Sarasota Memorial Hospital's campus. Maintain FL LPN licensure and hold or obtain Basic Life Support/CPR certification within thirty days of hire. Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification
- graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program
- FL Licensed Practical Nurse
- Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- one (1) year of clinical experience in outpatient physician office practice
- experience with an electronic practice management and electronic health record
- demonstrated knowledge of electronic practice management and electronic health records software
- skill in all Microsoft office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
