Job Summary
Provide patient care according to age-specific population needs and assist in managing patient care in the physician office setting under direct supervision of a provider. Maintain Basic Life Support/CPR certification, obtaining it within thirty days of hire if not currently held. Hold a Florida Licensed Practical Nurse license and a graduate degree from an accredited nursing school or diploma program. This role is part of the FPG Family Practice team at Gulfgate, Saraosta, supporting the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to safe care for vulnerable populations.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification
- Must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program
- FL Licensed Practical Nurse
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of clinical experience in outpatient physician office practice
- Experience with an electronic practice management and electronic health record
- Demonstrated knowledge of electronic practice management and electronic health records software
- Skill in all Microsoft office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
