Job Summary
Per diem LPN Clinical Associate to assist the Resident Care Director with supervision of Resident Care Aides, medication administration, activities of daily living, and evaluating clinical needs of residents. Responsibilities include monitoring residents’ physical/psychosocial/cognitive function, coordinating with physicians and families, maintaining nursing records and MARs, ensuring admission documentation, coordinating care with primary physicians, supervising staff in medication assistance, providing resident education on medications, participating in audits and quality assurance, and may include on-call duties and every-other-weekend coverage. Requires an active LPN license (RN may substitute for LPN in some requirements) and at least three years of experience with older adults; location is Penfield, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Current license and registration as a licensed practical nurse
- Three years’ experience with older adults
- License and registration as a registered nurse may substitute the LPN requirement and a portion of the experience requirement.
