LPN-Clinic

Directly provides patient care as an LPN, including IV therapy, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, utilizing the Nursing Process to gather data, plan and evaluate care. Communicates professionally with patients and families, adapts to unit changes, and supports other nursing staff and multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality personalized care. Licensed practical nurse responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, handling sensitive information, and complying with applicable laws, standards, and the organization’s Compliance & Privacy Program. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and current LPN license with BLS certification; IV therapy credentials are preferred. This role is within Ochsner Health's hospital setting in Shreveport, LA, and is an on-site, full-time position.
