Job Summary
Direct patient care as an LPN including IV therapy under the direction of a registered nurse; assists ancillary nursing staff and interacts with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality personalized patient care; uses the nursing process for data gathering, planning and evaluation; must have an LPN license in state of practice and BLS; IV therapy credentialing is preferred; capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and maintaining patient confidentiality; role may require adapting to unit changes and upholding compliance with applicable laws and standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
