Job Summary
Conduct well child care, medication rechecks, behavioral health management, and same-day/ill appointments at the Southwest Children's Clinic. Administer medications and vaccines while supporting patients and families under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Work 2 to 6 days a week from Monday through Friday with day shifts running from 7:50 AM to 4:30 PM. Cross-train to other Pediatric Clinics in the Fargo Moorhead community.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing
