Job Summary
Provide general nursing care under supervision, including assisting with exams, procedures, and patient education. Take and record vital statistics, draw blood, and administer medications ordered by physicians. Screen calls and walk-ins, collect clinical information, and relay pertinent data to the care team. Maintain supplies, sterilize instruments, and perform first aid procedures such as dressing changes and IV therapy. Document all observations, interventions, and medical history accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards. This role requires a current active LPN license, at least one year of LPN experience, and BLS certification within 90 days. Travel up to 10% locally and regionally is required, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from a nationally accredited school for practical or vocational nursing
- Current, active LPN license to practice in state of employment
- IV Therapy Certification (if required by employment State's Board of Nursing)
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience as an LPN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years overall clinical experience
- Experience working with geriatric patients
- EMR system experience
- Ability and willingness to travel locally and regionally up to 10% of the time
- Flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed
- Spoken and written fluency in English
