LPN Charge Nurse

Job Summary
Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of nursing staff, ensuring residents receive quality, compassionate care in accordance with care plans and physician orders. Monitor nursing practices for compliance with facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations while assisting with staffing coordination and clinical oversight. Report changes in resident conditions and ensure appropriate follow-up care. Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Support and mentor nursing team members to promote a positive work environment. This role operates under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing at HMR Veterans Services, dedicated to caring for the Nation's Heroes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program or an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program
- Current, active, and unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hospital, nursing home, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare setting
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric care settings
