Job Summary
As an LPN Charge Nurse, you will deliver high-quality clinical care to residents, supervise and support CNAs, and work closely with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure care plans are followed. You will administer medications and treatments, monitor residents’ conditions, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with clinical policies and regulatory standards, while communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues. The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care in a long-term care setting within Archway Transitional Care in Macon, GA. Key focus areas include supervision, nursing judgment, teamwork, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (State of Georgia or eligible)
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliability and a commitment to excellence
- Prior long-term care experience preferred, but not required
