LPN-Charge Nurse-PRN

Coordinates and provides nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting as an LPN. Administers medications and treatments per physician orders, assists with wound care, catheterization, oxygen care, and tracheostomy care, and ensures accurate narcotics accounting. Reads and transcribes physician orders, conducts nursing assessments, and documents resident status and interventions. Requires a current state LPN license, CPR certification, and an interest in gerontological nursing; prior long-term care experience is preferred.
