LPN - Center for Orthopedic Care

Licensed Practical Nurse provides primary and/or specialty care to patients of all ages under the direction of physicians and the director of physician practice management, adhering to asepsis and infection control principles. Responsible for planning, providing, and evaluating patient care as part of the health care team; supervising patients with direct accountability to the RN charge nurse; collaborating with the RN on nursing care plans; monitoring for drug reactions and unusual conditions; documenting care thoroughly; administering medications and preparing/maintaining equipment; ensuring emergency equipment readiness; assisting patient mobility; and participating in continuous quality improvement and in-service programs. Requires excellent verbal and written communication, ability to provide superior patient experiences in an office setting, teamwork, phlebotomy skills, cost-effective resource management, and adherence to confidentiality and DOH requirements. Pay range: $23.25-$27.90/hour.
