Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in ambulatory oncology at Monument Health. Responsibilities include properly preparing examination and treatment areas, completing patient rooming with vital signs and data collection, accurately administering and documenting medications, performing nursing procedures within scope, and collaborating with the RN/provider to assess, intervene, and update the care plan. Provides patient education and discharge instructions, conducts independent nurse visits under supervision, manages referrals/prior authorizations, assists with onboarding and mentoring clinical staff, and contributes to department development through meetings and training. Requires LPN licensure and completion of an approved nursing education program; 40-hour work week with competitive pay and benefits.
