Job Summary
LPN Behavioral Health Nights role provides essential nursing care under RN supervision and in collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering medications, implementing care plans, documenting care, educating patients and families, maintaining infection control and safety standards, supporting code team interventions, and participating in orientation/training of staff. Requires direct patient care, vital signs monitoring, ADL assistance, wound care, catheterization and specimen collection within scope, with shift emphasis on night hours and full-time commitment. Licensure as an LPN (or LVN where applicable) and state-specific certifications are required, with ACLS/PALS NRPs as noted depending on state.
Required Qualifications
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse license in applicable state
- 0-1 years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- State-specific certifications as required by the listed states (AL, FL, GA, IN, MS, NM, NC, OK, PA)
