Job Summary
Administer methadone to patients as prescribed, evaluate and assess new and current patients for treatment appropriateness, observe post-administration, follow physician orders, assess patient dosing appropriateness, collect urine specimens and manage records, maintain medical supply inventories, receive medication shipments per DEA procedures, pursue phlebotomy certification if required, coordinate and prepare dose packages, train new nurses, implement quality health standards, maintain patient dosing records and inventory reconciliation, report discrepancies to Nursing Supervisor and Program Director, participate in weekly treatment team meetings and external trainings, communicate with nursing team, monitor lab work, stay updated on treatment trends, ensure accreditation standards, meet attendance requirements, comply with regulatory requirements, demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as LPN
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Valid driver’s license
