Job Summary
LPN position administering methadone to patients, monitoring dosing and treatment progress, maintaining accurate patient dosing records and medication inventory, coordinating with counselors and Nursing leadership, training new nurses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Responsibilities include evaluating patient appropriateness for dosing, collecting urine specimens, managing medication shipments per DEA procedures, maintaining medical supply inventories, participating in weekly team meetings and training, and staying informed on drug abuse treatment trends. Requires license as LPN/LVN or RN, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s license; preferred experience in chemical addiction and competency with phlebotomy, dosing equipment, and medical documentation.
