Job Summary
Direct nursing assistants in accordance with current regulations and provide daily nursing reports on assigned residents. Perform administrative duties including completing medical forms, evaluations, and documentation for all residents. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers, transcribe telephone orders, and ensure all treatments are signed off before shift end. Make rounds with providers to evaluate resident status and review care plans based on nursing needs. Inform staff of new admissions and escort residents to their rooms. Work 48 hours paid for 64 hours per pay period in three shifts (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a) with every-other-weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state or compact state
- Current CPR license
- Previous long-term care experience
