Job Summary
Assist the provider and practice manager in delivering patient care duties, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, recording information in charts, and preparing treatment rooms. Perform examination and treatment support under provider direction while executing cross-trained miscellaneous delegated tasks to enhance care efficiency and continuity. Maintain current Ohio licensure or obtain required Medical Assistant certification within 15 months of hire. This role supports Kettering Health's mission to promote and restore health across southwest Ohio's outpatient facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification/registration as CCMA, CMA (AAMA), NCMA, RMA (through AMT) or completion of KHMG Medical Assistant Training Program or MA program through an accredited institution of higher learning and successful attainment of certification/registration within 15 months of hire
- Graduate of accredited LPN program (or equivalent) with current Ohio license
- STNAs or CNAs with at least 6 months of direct patient care experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year clinical experience in a medical/physician office setting preferred
- Experience with use of electronic medical records preferred
