Job Summary
LPN in Assisted Living provides nursing care to meet residents' needs per care plans and organizational procedures; supervises care staff; transcribes and implements physician orders; administers medicines and treatments; assists with admissions, discharges, and direct personal care; ensures residents stay at their highest functioning level and maintains documentation in medical records. Requires six months to one year of staff nursing experience (long-term care/assisted living preferred) and holds a New York State Practical Nursing license.
