Job Summary
Assists residents with prescribed medical treatment and personal care services. Plans and manages resident care according to each resident’s needs; obtains vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration); administers medication and assists with self-administered medications; provides wound care; monitors resident condition, charts, and discusses care with residents and families. Works under supervision to assist physicians and registered nurses; communicates with residents and families; prepares specimens for lab courier; supports infection control practices; and supervises 1+ employees in the Resident Healthcare Department. Requires completion of state-approved training and a valid State LPN License along with CPR certification. Full-time schedule with 5:30 AM–2:00 PM shifts (and 2:00 PM–10:00 PM on weekdays) at Stones River Manor in Murfreesboro, TN, offering benefits such as vacation, health insurance, and holiday pay.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of state approved training program
- Valid State LPN License
- Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
