Job Summary
As an LPN in the Pediatrics department, you will assist caregivers in providing exceptional care to pediatric patients, documenting health information, performing nursing assessments, implementing care plans, and educating families. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Ohio LPN license, and BLS certification. Experience with adult patients is necessary, while experience with pediatric patients is preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to lift patients and perform tasks in various conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing
- Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Experience working with adult patients
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with pediatric patients
- Two years of patient care experience
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with influenza vaccination program or obtain an approved exemption
- Pre-employment drug testing required
