Job Summary
LPN- Ambulatory Oncology: Assists in providing direct patient care and administers/monitors treatments per the current treatment plan or supervisor directions. Performs nursing duties with potential expanded IV therapy role as required by the clinical area; requires knowledge of patient care procedures, teamwork, and effective communication. Responsibilities include documenting care, educating patients and families, and contributing to committee or project efforts to improve patient care, while adhering to clinical standards and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN license
- LPN certified in IV therapy (if required by clinical area)
- BLS within 90 days of hire
