Job Summary
LPN Ambulatory role in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. Provides patient care under supervision, collects and documents data, completes nursing assessments, implements current nursing care plans and treatments, observes for adverse reactions, performs routine lab tests, and educates patients and families. Requires Ohio LPN license and BLS; preferred one year of patient care with cardiovascular/surgical experience. Four 10-hour shifts Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with ability to float to other locations in the region.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing
- Current Ohio License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross
