Job Summary
Collect and document patient information including vital signs, medications, allergies, and health risk screens. Provide clinical interventions such as drug administration and treatments as ordered by the provider. Monitor patients with chronic diseases, verify eligibility, and collaborate with the RN to coordinate care plans. Assist with phone communications, anticipate provider needs for exams, and support coworkers with training and duties. Manage compliance requirements like laboratory QC, waiver testing, and narcotic counts. This LPN role in adult medicine at Optum offers a sign-on bonus and hourly pay ranging from $20.38 to $36.44.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current, unrestricted NV LPN license or temporary NV LPN license with the ability to obtain permanent NV LPN license upon expiration of temporary NV LPN license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ years of clinical experience as a LPN
- No weekends, nights or holidays
