Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on the Acute Care Transition Specialty Unit utilizing the nursing process for moderate to high acuity patients. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff while contributing to safety and quality at the point of care. Maintain valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Work full-time nights (72 hours per pay period) onsite at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, earning $26.34–$40.82 hourly with a quarterly night shift incentive.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program
- State licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
