Job Summary
Contribute to patient assessment by collecting data for RN analysis and perform plan of care interventions including specimen collection and wound care. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation while monitoring, documenting, and communicating their status and reactions to interventions. Work full-time days in the UCHA Transition Specialties Unit at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, earning between $26.34 and $40.82 per hour with a quarterly night shift incentive program. Requires state licensure as an LPN or LVN, graduation from an accredited program, and current BLS or CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program
- State licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
