Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on moderate to high acuity Acute Care Med-Surg units using the nursing process. Prioritize patient wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team approach. Support new healthcare staff through precepting and competency validation while modeling proficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care. This onsite role at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion requires a licensed LPN with current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program
- State licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
