Job Summary
Overnight LPN responsible for forming bonds with residents, families and physicians to create care plans using critical thinking and a big-picture approach; coach co-workers to monitor and support residents’ needs with urgency; round with physicians and monitor medications to ensure continuous quality care; educate residents and families about health and wellness issues relevant to the care plan; serve as and share responsibilities of the Manager on Duty. The role requires an active LPN license, at least one year of experience in healthcare/assisted living, CPR certification (or employer-paid certification), leadership abilities, and the physical capability to perform required tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license
- Minimum of one-year experience in assisted living or other health care setting
- CPR certification (or company-paid certification)
- Leadership skills and ability to form relationships with residents, their loved ones and co-workers
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this role
