Job Summary
Provide patient care under RN supervision on the Neurology 6c floor, managing moderate to high acuity patients with complex conditions like stroke, seizures, and traumatic brain injury. Perform frequent neurological assessments, monitor mental status changes, assist with mobility, implement fall prevention, and coordinate multidisciplinary therapy services. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality while utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients. Work nights from 1830 to 0700 in a full-time rotational schedule. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri
- Meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Ability to stand/walk most of the time on duty
- Ability to perform significant amount of bending and stooping
- Ability to lift and turn patients with assistance
- Ability to push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
- Availability for Nights - 1830 to 0700 shifts
- Full-Time employment
- Neurology floor patient acuity management (moderate to high)

- Comparable education experience
- Successful licensure (beyond current state requirements)
- Experience as a new LPN
