Job Summary
Licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Pennsylvania for 3p-11p shift at Rest Haven. Fully on-site role with base pay $30.00/hr plus $4.00/hr shift differential; weekend hours include every other Saturday or Sunday or 1 full weekend per schedule, with weekend hours paid at 1.5x base. Responsibilities include performing licensed nursing duties (e.g., catheterization, enemas, suction, tube feeds), administering medications, updating and adhering to resident care plans, supervising nursing assistants, orienting/admitting/discharging residents, and participating in QAPI initiatives. Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, supports trauma-informed care, participates in annual compliance and ethics training, and contributes ideas for organizational improvement. Requires strong communication, teamwork, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, and background clearances as required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed practical nurse or board eligible in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Professional, communicator, team builder, leader, organized, and a problem solver.
- Knowledge of government nursing home regulations preferred
- Criminal history background clearance: Act 169 and Act 13
