LPN 3 - Cardiac Surgery - Full Time

Job Summary
Care for pre and post-operative cardiac surgery patients, cardiac dysrhythmias, vascular surgery patients, and general medical overflow on a 24-private bed unit. Work as part of a support team including educators, PCA/PCTs, case managers, respiratory therapists, and therapists. Maintain a current LPN license within the hiring state and obtain ACLS, BLS, and other unit-specific certifications within required timeframes. Perform duties requiring the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly, with prolonged standing, walking, and physical movements including gripping, reaching, bending, and squatting. Earn credentials in ACLS and build strong clinical skills for the cardiac and vascular population.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- PEARS certification
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Six Assessment & Care Modules certification
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri
