Job Summary
Administer methadone to patients as prescribed, ensuring medication accountability and observing patients post-administration. Evaluate new and current patients for treatment appropriateness, collect urine specimens, and file contract urines while maintaining accurate dosing records and inventory reconciliation. Coordinate courtesy dose packages, receive medication shipments per DEA procedures, and report discrepancies to supervisors. Train new nurses, participate in weekly team meetings and monthly in-service trainings, and implement quality health standards to meet accreditation requirements. Work 5:30am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, earning $30.00 to $33.00 per hour plus a bonus structure.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as LPN/LVN or RN in the state of MN
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Quick reaction capability
- Knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuge, physical assessment tools, test strips, breathalyzers, and other medical equipment
- Basic knowledge and skill in using standard office equipment
- Meet attendance standards and be ready for work as scheduled
- Comply with all regulatory and accrediting agency requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in chemical addiction
- Accurate data entry skills and basic computing knowledge
