Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of Certified Nursing Assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained as directed by the RN, Director of Nursing Services, and Administration. Maintain a positive attitude toward the elderly while treating all with dignity, equality, and respect in a Montessori-Inspired Living® environment. This 1st shift, part-time role requires a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing, at least 18 years of age, and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a LPN
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
- Speak and understand English
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a nursing capacity
- Knowledge of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
- Positive attitude toward the elderly
