Job Summary
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for consumers at the community outpatient clinic who do not qualify for traditional center services. Document clinical services within 24 hours of consumer interaction and participate in collaborative team diagnosis and treatment. Interpret methods and procedures for agencies, act as liaison for admission and discharge planning, and supervise therapists, volunteers, or students as needed. May participate in budget planning, unit administration, and program development while attending work-related conferences. Perform related work as assigned under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Current and continued proof of automobile liability insurance
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology or related field
- Licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PSYD or Psychologist
- Eligible to complete necessary requirements to obtain licensure
- Ability to obtain credentialing as a Qualified Mental Health Professional through training and competency evaluations within 30 days of employment
- Must have and maintain a level of general health that permits the performance of the job duties
- Ability to maintain regular attendance as set forth in Center policies and procedures
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- PMAB certification
- Ability to lift or support 30 lbs.
- Ability to kneel on either knee
- Ability to stand from a kneeling position
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational/filing skills
- Knowledge of assessment/diagnostic eval
- Knowledge of rehabilitation/skills training
- Knowledge of treatment planning
- Ability to do timely clinical documentation
- Ability to travel locally 5%
Desired Qualifications
- Case management experience
- Psychotherapy experience
- Experience and/or training in trauma-informed care principles
- Experience and/or training in trauma treatment
