Job Summary
LPDRAM validation engineer role focusing on improving validation testing coverage/quality for Mobile DRAM products, collaborating with verification/design/PE/QMS teams to define validation test flow, developing testing patterns to improve efficiency, and leveraging AI-enabled workflows to scale quality checks. Responsibilities include detecting failures per JEDEC specs, conducting systematic analysis to identify root causes, working with multiple engineering groups to resolve defects, supporting Verilog simulations for new products, performing detailed data analysis to drive yield improvements, and deploying scalable, high-quality testing strategies across the organization. Required technical skills include DRAM/Memory domain expertise, Verilog simulation, back-end testing familiarity, scripting (Python/TypeScript/PowerShell), and knowledge of AI tools and data-driven workflow improvements.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
- Familiar with Back End testing. (Both Memory and SOC.)
- Oral and written English communication skills are required.
- Previous work experience in DRAM memory related fields.
- Proven experience implementing solutions using Python, TypeScript, PowerShell, or equivalent programming languages.
- Experience in designing logic and/or analog circuits, or knowledge that can be understood by looking at circuit diagrams.
- Verilog Simulation experience.
- High-speed Interface testing experience.
- IATF16949 (automotive audit) knowledge makes it easier to prove correctness of the test.
- Ability to negotiate externally (research, information dissemination)
- Proven experience in automating business workflows, including API integrations, data processing, and robust exception handling.
- Prior experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code).
- Demonstrated experience in proposing and delivering actionable improvements tailored to on-site requirements.
