Job Summary
Independent contractor telehealth mental health professionals provide clinical services across the United States, conducting virtual individual, group, family, and teen counseling sessions via HIPAA-compliant platforms. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, providing medication management when appropriate, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in adherence to ethical and legal requirements. Minimum commitment is 12+ hours per week with flexibility for evening and weekend availability. Opportunities for long-term full-time roles and ongoing professional development are available.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Current state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and technology for virtual sessions
