Job Summary
Deliver outpatient mental health care in a Clarkston clinic space, providing therapy while supervising LLPCs; fully licensed LPC with Approved Clinical Supervisor credentials (or equivalent) for supervision. Maintain a full-time caseload with at least 25 direct client hours per week and initial scheduling availability of 35 hours/week. Role includes supervising LLPCs, performing comprehensive intakes, developing treatment plans, and ensuring timely documentation. Requires MS in counseling or related field, MI licensure, and strong communication and boundary-management skills. Required Qualifications
- Full, unrestricted licensure in the State of Michigan (LPC)
- Master’s degree in counseling or related field from an accredited institution
- Approved Clinical Supervisor credential or meet supervisor requirements through LARA
- Experience creating and implementing treatment plans
- Experience maintaining detailed clinical documentation including case notes and updates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish and uphold ethical boundaries with clients in a clinical setting
- Timely and accurate documentation of session records and notes
- Comfortable working with diverse populations across ages and backgrounds
- Proficiency with day-to-day office tools and electronic health records (Valant preferred)
