Propane Delivery Driver

Job Summary
Load, secure, transport, and deliver propane and fuel to residential and commercial locations using a bobtail truck. Perform pre and post-trip inspections on equipment, maintain accurate records of inspections, hours of service, product transported, and miles driven in compliance with DOT regulations. Monitor truck maintenance needs, conduct daily DOT truck inspections, and ensure vehicles receive service according to the maintenance schedule. Comply with all city, state, and federal regulations while prioritizing personal and customer safety. Requires a Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements. Evening hours and weekends may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Propane Delivery Driver
- Advanced knowledge of propane (LP) and refined fuel systems
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety (FMCSA) Regulations
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A or B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to heavy weights of 20 to 100 lbs. for approximately 90% of the work shift
- Ability to regularly climb in and out of a commercial motor vehicle, multiple times per work shift
- Good hand eye coordination, arm hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to operate equipment
- Must be able to speak and hear
- Must pass pre-hire DOT medical certification requirements and drug and/or alcohol testing
- Must pass pre-employment screening and background check
- Position may require working evening hours and weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- LP Delivery certification through the Oklahoma RRC (preferred, or with the ability to obtain)
- TWIC card (preferred)
