Job Summary
Cover teacher absences daily across any subject or grade at Quarry Lane School by creating well-organized, meaningful, and creative lesson plans that maximize student learning. Adapt to different situations involving subject supervision and support while maintaining respectful interactions with students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Uphold school policies, act as a positive ambassador, and manage the classroom environment to foster a culture of learning and protect student welfare. Communicate with faculty and administration as needed, carry out supervisory duties, and maintain punctual attendance. Requires a Bachelor's degree, minimum two years teaching experience, and strong organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in effective English with faculty, staff, vendors, etc. in person, email, telephone, video chat, etc.
- Keep a work area that is clean, secure and well maintained.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to successfully learn, navigate and use QLS's internal programs and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong familiarity with all information covered in the student, faculty, and personnel handbooks
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Skill managing sensitive and confidential information
- Maintains a positive attitude
- Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to multiple situations and tasks
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Ability to walk easily within the classroom to effectively work with and address student needs.
- Minimum of two years teaching.
