Lower School Special Education Teacher

Manage a caseload of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans by providing direct and indirect special education services. Develop and deliver differentiated instruction using evidence-based strategies to support academic, language, cognitive, sensory, and social-emotional skills. Serve as the primary point of contact for families, facilitate annual IEP meetings, and maintain accurate service logs, lesson plans, and progress monitoring data. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators on multidisciplinary teams to promote student success. Complete quarterly progress reports and assist with state and standardized assessments. Requires Massachusetts licensure in Special Education with a SEI Endorsement and ongoing professional development.
