Job Summary
Lower School Homeroom Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities include planning and implementing core subjects (Math, English Language Arts, and Social Studies) using the school’s practices (Responsive Classroom and Math in Focus), fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment, communicating regularly with parents about student progress and well-being, developing curricula aligned to grade-level standards, tracking student progress, participating in professional development, and contributing to an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom community. Requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work with diverse learners, and commitment to equity and inclusion. Salary range $54,000–$107,500 annually; 10-month exempt position; background check and other standard duties apply.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or related field
- Minimum of three years of demonstrated excellence in teaching at the elementary level
