Lower School 4th Grade Writing Teacher

Job Summary
Teach and instruction 4th grade writing and teach Bible to 4th grade homeroom. Collaborate with team, review and design instructional programs to meet individual needs, counsel with parents, create projects to enhance lessons, and utilize technology to transform teaching and learning of ELA. Requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, effective classroom management, timely assessment and grading, and ability to integrate faith with learning. Must demonstrate faith, abide by the school’s Statement of Faith, and maintain professional Christian behavior in all settings. Supplemental duties include attending staff meetings, maintaining a well-ordered classroom, supervising recess and lunch, and supporting extracurricular programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Florida Educator Certificate in the subject area assigned
- Years of Experience: 3-5
- Be in agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith
- Demonstrate Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions
