Job Summary
Conduct substitute teaching for Lower and Middle School grades across all disciplines as needed, either in advance or on the day. Manage classroom environments with school-age students while demonstrating flexibility and comfort across various age levels. Utilize Zoom and Google Workspace platforms for virtual instruction and complete required online training. Maintain commitment to Quaker values, social justice, and anti-racism principles. Submit to PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprint Check, and PA Child Abuse Clearance. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related educational field.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working directly with school-age students and managing a classroom environment
- Comfort working on Zoom and Google Workspace platforms
- Commitment to Quaker values, social justice, and anti-racism
- Successful completion of state requirements, including but not limited to the following clearances: PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprint Check, and PA Child Abuse Clearance
- Willingness to complete various online training, as required by the school
- A bachelor's degree in a related educational field
