Lowboy Driver

Dispatched to transport construction materials and equipment to customer or job site locations, conducting daily pre/post trip inspections on the assigned vehicle to maintain safety standards and report any damage or tampering immediately. Drives to destinations applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and local road conditions while maintaining a truck log in accordance with state, federal, and company policies. Communicates promptly with traffic or site conditions, identifies job site locations, and notes light bridges or road restrictions. Performs loading and unloading of heavy equipment, adhering to maintenance, cleanliness, and repair guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook. Works early mornings, evenings, and weekends, adapting to changing job requirements and interacting professionally with the public and company staff.
