Job Summary
Lowbed Driver with a Class A CDL is needed to transport oversize and heavy equipment using a lowbed trailer. Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, driving to destinations, loading/unloading heavy equipment, preparing trailers, securing loads, maintaining truck logs per state and federal regulations, and coordinating with dispatch. Must comply with OSHA/MSHA safety policies; physical ability to lift up to 85 pounds; willingness to undergo pre-employment drug testing; strong communication skills; experience with lowbed operations and equipment handling; background in heavy civil contracting and construction materials support preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CDL A
- Clean driving record
- 1 year of experience driving a lowbed truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport oversize and heavy equipment to and from specified destinations
