Low Voltage Technology Engineer - MEP

Job Summary
Lead and execute designs for technology systems including telecommunication rooms, structured cabling, pathways infrastructure, nurse call, security, and audiovisual systems. Develop low voltage system concepts to determine optimal engineering solutions based on project scope. Create detailed design drawings, narratives, and CSI specifications for bidding and construction while performing construction administration services. Actively interface with external clients, architects, consultants, and construction partners. Assist team in achieving project budget and resource management. Provide mentorship for other engineers and designers within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Applied Science in Engineering Technology or similar education
- 12+ years of experience in design and consulting for low voltage and/or electrical systems
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Candidate with RCDD certification or similar industry certification is preferred
- Candidates with a PE license or ability to obtain a PE license will be considered a plus
- Experience in architectural and engineering work
- Working experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Products
- Ability to self-manage throughout the project and work as part of a team
- Proven communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Active participation in industry organizations
