Low Voltage Technician

Job Summary
Lead small teams on multi-week projects installing and maintaining structured cabling systems (Cat5/Cat6, fiber, coax), configure CCTV and network devices, read blueprints/site maps, and ensure safety/compliance. Travel extensively (4–6 weeks at a time) with weekend/nigh shifts when required. Must have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in low-voltage systems, strong fiber optic termination and network infrastructure knowledge, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, basic telecom tools and PPE, and be capable of project leadership and customer communication. Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA, MSHA, AVIXA CTS, Panduit, Belden, or Corning are highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years hands-on experience in low-voltage systems, structured cabling, networking, and CCTV
- Strong understanding of fiber optic termination, network infrastructure, and POS deployment/troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ability to travel extensively (4–6 weeks at a time) and work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Leadership experience or ability to lead small teams
- Comfortable reading blueprints and site maps
- Possession of basic telecom tools and PPE
