Job Summary
Install and configure security cameras, assist with Head End installations, and pull, route, and secure low-voltage cabling including CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optics. Terminate and label cables, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, and mount hardware while performing system testing, troubleshooting, and quality control inspections. Maintain a clean work environment adhering to OSHA safety standards and collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines. Requires 2 years of experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and knowledge of structured cabling.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Low Voltage Technician or Electronics Technician
- Experience installing CCTV/security camera systems
- Experience assisting with Head End installations
- Knowledge of structured cabling, cable termination, and testing procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and low-voltage schematics
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or lifts
- Proper PPE hard hat, work boots, safety vest, safety glasses and work gloves
- Compliance with Substance Abuse Prevention Policy
- Passing of a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Come Tec specialized systems and equipment
